5 Ways to Travel Without Leaving Your House

As we are currently under quarantine for #COVID19, we are looking forward to when things settle down and we are able to travel again. In the meantime, here are 5 ways you can travel without leaving your house!

1. Destination-Inspired Candles

Light up and enjoy the smell of destination inspired candles: You can check out some Home Sick: Southern CaliforniaHome Sick: New York CityHome Sick: Grand Canyon, or smell the ocean breeze from a candle from Yankee Candle. You can have them burn all day long inside your home and use your imagination with your kids too!

2. Visualization Meditation

Practice visualization meditation to get a head start on figuring out your next trip—you can find many techniques here on YouTube.

3. Take a virtual train ride or beach trip

Consider YouTube for a beach where to travel next or take a virtual train ride to the Norwegian Arctic Circle or travel through Switzerland to Italy.

4. Journaling

Consider journaling about places you have traveled to already. This I Was Here: Travel Journal for the Curious Minded is pretty sweet and will make you want to put down your smart phone and get started if you need some motivation.

5. The Great Outdoors

If you have a yard or even a pool you can enjoy the outdoors with a splash pad, water slide, or even water buckets. If you are in warm parts of the world, you can enjoy a picnic with some of your favorite culinary reminiscent of places you may have traveled such as croissants!
